Experimental assessment of an OFDMA-based statistical PON with flexible bandwidth allocation and sign-labels

Abstract

A statistical OFDM-PON was experimentally tested with flexible bandwidth allocation for proper detection of ONUs with differential link loss. Sign-labels were also added to boost the system sensitivity by 3dB.
