High-Power, Widely Tunable, Room-Temperture, Picosecond Optical Parametric Oscillator Based on Cylindrical MgO:PPLN

Abstract

We report the first room-temperature synchronously-pumped picosecond OPO based on MgO:PPLN partial cylinder, providing broad and continuous tuning in the near-mid-IR with >4 W total average power, excellent output stability, and high beam quality.
