Abstract

We present experimentally the remote detection of biological life signs, including heartbeat, breathing, gross physical movement, and blood circulation conditions using a highly sensitive, speckle-tolerant pulsed laser vibrometer that allows interrogation from essentially any part of the subject’s body.
