Abstract
Boron nitride (BN) recently attracts a great deal of attention for its variety of intriguing properties. The recent advance in growth technique has made it possible to obtain high quality cubic and hexagonal BN, which are typical stable structures among the polymorphs. In this paper, we review the recent growth technique for cubic and hexagonal BN and their optical properties.
