130 MW peak power femtosecond laser pulses in a Kerr lens mode-locked thin-disk ring oscillator

Abstract

We report generation of 860 W average power, 440 fs pulses in a 15.2 MHz thin-disk ring oscillator by placing a Kerr lens mode-locking setup in a low-pressure chamber.
