Abstract
We report a novel design of Circular –Helical(C-H) and Elliptical-Helical (E-H) Photonic crystal fiber (PCF) to generate circular polarization using FEM method. The proposed design is achieved by applying permanent twisting of a six fold segment PCF with a fixed twisting period. The effect of circular birefringence is studied and analyzed numerically at different twist rate (rad/mm) and at different temperature (°C).
