Abstract
The recently developed chalcopyrite is employed in a picosecond, 90°-phase-matched, synchronously pumped, optical parametric oscillator pumped at to produce steady-state idler pulses near with an energy as high as at , in a train of -long macropulses following at a repetition rate of . Without an intracavity etalon, the -long micropulses have a spectral width of .
