Carrier-Envelope-Phase Stable Few-Optical-Cycle Pulses from Optical Parametric Amplifiers

We review different schemes of ultrabroadband optical parametric amplification to generate few-optical-cycle light pulses widely tunable from the visible to the mid-IR. We also demonstrate passive, all-optical carrier-envelope-phase stabilization of such pulses.
