High Speed, Optically Sectioned Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging utilizing Time-gated Nipkow Disk or Multifocal Multiphoton Time Correlated Single Photon Counting Microscopy

Abstract

We report two optically sectioned fluorescence lifetime systems that exhibit better signal to noise per unit time than conventional time correlated single photon counting systems. Both systems are applied to biologically relevant samples.
