Ultimate Limits to Quantum-Enhanced Optical Phase Tracking

Abstract

We use the quantum Fisher information to show the ultimate limit to the accuracy of measurement of a fluctuating phase with a squeezed state. This measurement accuracy is achievable using an adaptive phase measurement.
