Directional Photoluminescence Enhancement in Organic Flexible Microcavities

Abstract

We report on the fabrication and full optical characterization of flexible full plastic one-dimensional photonic crystal cavities. We demonstrate strong directional emission enhancement when the emitting layer is resonantly coupled to the cavity mode.
