Optical Phase Anisotropy in Layered Black Phosphorus

Abstract

We developed an interferometric spectroscopy and imaging technique to exploit the optical phase anisotropic properties of layered black phosphorus. The optical contrast is an order of magnitude larger than that with purely intensity-based measurements.
