Enhancing Coherent anti-Stokes Raman Scattering Background Suppression with Phase Cycled Structured Femtosecond Laser Pulses

Abstract

We demonstrate a homodyne coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering technique based on femtosecond laser pulse shaping (phase-cycling). This technique utilizes a self-generated non-resonant background as a local oscillator to retrieve phase information of the Raman signal.
