Towards High Average Power 12 μm Mid-Infrared Supercontinuum Sources

We present an overview of our development towards high average power fiber-based mid-infrared supercontinuum generation. We have explored different pumping schemes and fiber geometries, achieving more than 50 mW average power up to 10 μm.
