Demonstration of Software-defined Multiband OFDM with Low-complexity Phase Noise Compensation

Abstract

We demonstrate low-complexity phase noise compensation for a software-defined multiband OFDM system. Experimental results show that laser phase noise up to 1 MHz can be compensated for 114.8-Gb/s 16-QAM signals after 480-km SSMF transmission.
