Abstract

We present the fusion of temperature measurements from different distributed fiber sensing technologies, namely Raman-DTS and DAS based DTGS, and its application. The method yields an improvement of factor 3 in temperature resolution compared to DTS only, revealing temperature features otherwise undetectable.
