Measurement of the coupling efficiency for surface plasmon modes generated by nanogrooves

Abstract

We present a simple far-field experiment to validate the theoretical predicted functional dependence of the SPP coupling efficiency on groove width, in good agreement with the SPP picture proposed by Lalanne’s group.
