Detecting Underwater Laguerre Gaussian Modes using a Convolutional Neural Network

We propose the use of a convolutional neural network (CNN) to detect single and superpositions of Laguerre Gaussian modes in an underwater environment which will open the doors towards fast and reliable underwater optical wireless communications.
