Abstract
The principle of unconventional holography, called mutual coherence matrix holography is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. An electric filed with object polarization information is recorded in polarization holograms are reconstructed as the three-dimensional distribution of each element in a mutual coherence matrix. A simple optical system for the direct visualization of the reconstructed coherence image is proposed along with the experimental results validating the proposed principle.
