Light Field Sparsification in Shearlet Transform Domain

Abstract

We advocate the use of shearlet transform for sparcifying light field imagery represented through the two-plane parameterization. The proposed approach is instrumental for reconstructing densely sampled light field from sparsely positioned cameras.
