Large Field of View Ghost Image Free Achromatic Head-Up Display

Abstract

We propose an achromatic polarization correction method based on two half-wave plates to suppress ghost images in head-up displays. Based on the results a ghost image free colour HUD is demonstrated with 13° x 30° FOV.
