Parallax error calculation in automotive Augmented Reality HUD and its impact on the requirements of the system

Abstract

Evolution of parallax error for an augmented reality HUD is calculated in different use cases. Along with analysis of binocular and monocular cues, the outcomes of this study drive the optical requirements for such systems.
