Comparison of Non-contact Air Temperature Imaging Technique using Parallel Phase-shifting Digital Holography with Thermocouples

Abstract

We experimentally compared the air temperatures measured by non-contact imaging technique using parallel phase-shifting digital holography with those measured with a thermocouple. This study revealed that the technique has a faster thermal response than thermocouples.
