Abstract

We demonstrate a novel linear-cavity wavenumber-linear swept laser based on acousto-optic tunable filter (AOTF) in the wavelength range of 1500 nm. The electro-optic swept laser provides high environmental stability and arbitrary drive function sweeping since mechanical tuning of the filter is eliminated in AOTF. We can also verify wavenumber-linearity with R-square value of 0.99991
