Abstract

Novel saturable absorbers based on carbon nanotubes, graphene, topological insulators, transition metal dichalcogenides and black phosphorus were fabricated and characterized. Their performance for short pulse generation in Tm:ZBLAN waveguide chip lasers was analyzed.
