Study on molten glass behavior during glass nanofiber production by laser spinning

Abstract

Behavior of molten glass during laser spinning was elucidated. Voids were formed by the laser pulse traveling through the glass substrate. The shrinkage of voids was also observed between the interval of the laser shots.
