Abstract

A novel approach is proposed to reduce the cross phase modulation between multiple clock pump in the multi-wavelength optical decision based optical fiber parametric amplifier. The dispersive media is used to preprocess the pump clock, and then the clock pump is changed from intensity modulation into phase modulation.
