Abstract

Path diversity provided by overlay networks brings about possibilities to choose alternate optimal path against default one. In this paper, we present a routing mechanism which chooses path based on a composite metric, whose comprising metrics are determined by active probing measurements on the overlay network in a real-time fashion.
