Study on the displacement sensor based on FBG

Abstract

A new kind of FBG displacement sensor is developed which can be temperature self-compensation. Experiments were carried out to validate characters of the sensor which has good linearity and repetition. The displacement resolution is 0.01mm, and the correlation coefficient is within 0.9999. The sensor is fit for the optical sensing system.
