Multi-Channel and High-Density Hybrid Integrated Light Source on Silicon Optical Waveguide Platform

Abstract

A novel high-density hybrid integrated light source on a silicon waveguide platform was developed for interchip optical interconnection. The number of output ports was increased to over a hundred by using waveguide splitters and multichip bonding.
