Fragments-Minimum Spectrum Allocation Algorithm in Flexible Bandwidth Multi-Fiber Optical Networks

Abstract

This paper introduces the concept of Spectrum Compactness to describe fragments in flexible bandwidth multi-fiber optical networks. To minimum fragments, three algorithms named AFFF, MSFF and BSF are proposed. Simulations show BSF performs the best.
