Ultra-broadband metamaterial absorber in terahertz regime

Abstract

A broadband metematerial absorber composed of a periodic array of metal-dielectric multilayered pyramids is presented. Simulated results show that the absorbance is higher than 90% in the frequency range from 1.08 to 2.15 THz.
