Adaptive Control of OFDM Data Rate for LED Visible Light Communications in Different Free Space Transmission Distances and Offsets

Abstract

Using orthogonal-frequency-division-multiplexing (OFDM) for light-emitting-diode (LED) visible-light-communication (VLC) is a promising approach. Here we demonstrate an LED communication link with adaptive control of the OFDM data rate for different communication environments.
