Widely repetition- and wavelength-tunable soliton pulse generation pumped by an actively mode-locked fiber laser

Abstract

By using soliton self-frequency shift in a single-mode fiber with an actively mode-locked fiber laser as the input source, we demonstrate an all-fiber, 1560 to 1700 nm wavelength-tunable, femtosecond source with arbitrary repetition rate.
