Wavelength Switchable Semiconductor Lasers

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

The principle, design and experimental results of wavelength switchable semiconductor lasers based on half-wave-coupled cavities are presented. With easy-to-fabricate simple structures, single-electrode controlled fast switching over a wide tuning range is demonstrated with high SMSR.
