A Re-Modulation Scheme in WDM-PON based on FP-LD and RSOA Cascaded Structure

Abstract

We demonstrate a cascaded re-modulation scheme in WDM-PON based on FP-LD and RSOA. Experimental results show that this scheme can successfully demodulate 10Gbit/s downstream DPSK signal and improve upstream transmission performance simultaneously.
