100G Coherent transponder in MSA with advanced SD FEC

Abstract

The paper discusses key technologies needed to implement 100G Coherent transceivers in an MSA form-factor. In particular, we discuss advantages and performance of SD-FEC. Finally, we present test results including transmission over 3750km SSMF (47 spans).
