Mid-Infrared semiconductor laser based trace gas sensor technologies: recent advances and applications

Abstract

Recent advances in the development of ultra-sensitive sensor technology based on mid – infrared semiconductor lasers for the detection of trace gas species and their application in industrial process control and environmental monitoring will be reported.
