Electromagnetic waves interaction with various metallic nanomaterials

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

The metallic nanoparticles can effectively confine the radiation to nanoscale in the proximity of the plasmon resonance, while the position of this resonance is controlled by the morphology of the nanostructures. I will discuss physical and chemical preparation methods of various nanostructures and their structural and optical characterization.
