A Broadband, Omnidirectional Absorber Based on a Slot Waveguide Grating on a Metallic Substrate

Abstract

We proposed a broadband, omnidirectional absorber based on a slot waveguide grating on a metallic substrate. Average absorption of ~90% was achieved with bandwidth of 1100 nm over a wide angle range (0 – 80°).
