Direct-Detection Optical OFDM Superchannel for LR-PON Using Comb Regeneration

Abstract

We propose and experimentally demonstrate a 105-Gb/s downstream transmission of DDO-OFDM superchannel for long reach PON by using comb regeneration, 100-km and 1:64 split is achieved with more than 5-dB power margin.
