Abstract

The integral invariance of the reflective spectrum is revealed for weak-coupled waveguide Bragg grating for the first time. The integral of the reflective spectrum of arbitrary grating profile nearly maintains constant, under the condition of the grating phase changing along the cavity and the uniform reflective index modulation.
