Abstract
The single mode cutoff frequency of a novel Terahertz triangle core photonic crystal fiber is investigated by using the full-vector finite element method (FEM). The results show that the Terahertz frequency range of the single-mode can be adjusted by the cladding pitch, cladding air hole and core air hole diameters. 0.1THz–5THz broadband single-mode transmission range can be obtained by tailoring the parameters of this kind of fiber.
