Implementing Available Bandwidth Detection and Adaption: A Spectrum-Resource-Diffusion Routing Scheme in Flexible Grid Optical Networks

Abstract

We propose a novel distributed path-vector routing scheme in flexible grid optical networks. This scheme further exploits the flexibility of flexible grid optical networks through the detection and adaptation of available bandwidth with polynomial complexity.
