Design and Simulation of an N×N Echelle Grating Wavelength Router

Abstract

we report the simulation results of a 4×4 wavelength router based on echelle grating with a cyclic spectral response. The device has a small size of 1.3mm × 1.2mm for a channel spacing of 400GHz at 1550nm wavelength band.
