Abstract

The emerging multi service optical transport networks are multi-domain, multi-layer and multi-technology (L0/L1 OTN, L2 Ethernet/MPLS-TP) transport networks for which service providers demand a unified, converged and programmable network management and a unified and open connection control. This presentation addresses the latest developments in the management and control layer that support this demand.
