High power and widely tunable Raman fiber laser at ~1.6μm

Abstract

We report on a high power Ramam fiber laser with operating wavelength tunable from 1645nm to 1675nm using a volume-Bragg-grating. A maximum output power of 11 W was achieved with a slope efficiency of 65%.
