Transmission of GNSS Signals over Bidirectional Fiber Link with Compact Remote Antenna Unit

Abstract

A compact, cost-effective and polarization insensitive bidirectional optical link for GNSS-based aircraft attitude determination or structural health monitoring system is proposed and demonstrated. The system has a reduced system error for relative hardware delay monitoring.
