Phase noise compensated optical frequency domain reflectometry and its applications

Abstract

Phase-noise-compensated optical frequency domain reflectometry (PNC-OFDR), which provides a capability to achieve a very high-resolution measurement over a long range, is reviewed in this paper. Its principle and applications are also introduced and discussed.
