A High-Performance Optical Network-on-chip Architecture Based on Sub-network Division

Abstract

A novel optical network-on-chip architecture with its communication protocol is proposed. The whole network can be divided into several subnets utilizing WDM technology. It well reduces the network congestion and achieves considerable performance.
